Now that you know how to create a domain name from GoDaddy.com, the next step is to create a hosting account with another vendor called hostgator.com

As you would have observed, I am sticking with GoDaddy and HostGator. You might want to ask me why.

The reason is that these guys are the best in the business and know their stuff very well. Another reason, is that it is always safer to have your domain registered with one domain registrar and hosting with another - simply because of Business Continuity Planning.

For example, if one of these companies go bust, you will still have your site up and running - Touchwood !

Ok lets get over it…not worth discussing. Lets move on..

Coming to the point - The next step after creating a domain name is to create a hosting account. So how do we do it ?

As usual, in my effort to bring the best from the web and not to re-invent the wheel, I have picked up a video from Youtube which explains how to sign up for hosting with Hostgator. So sit back and enjoy every bit of information that is provided in this video.

In the video, the presenter talks of Dotster, another domain registrar. Just ignore him. Lets stick to GoDaddy, for now

Dont believe me ? You can do your research if you want to :)…Anyways, have a good time :)
